April 1st

Dear Parents,

We are in the process of studying about career choices in the social studies unit of jobs, money, and economics. We would like to have about 4-6 parents present information about their occupations. Each presentation should last no more than 20 minutes. We would like for these presentations to be the afternoon of our TAAS testing dates on Tuesday, April 16th and Wednesday, April 17th. We will plan for the times to be 1:15 – 1:45, 1:45 – 2:15 and 2:15 to 2:45. Presentations might include the reasons you choose this profession, the education or training you needed, the duties or job description, what you enjoy most about your job, a salary range, and any type of favors for each student. These are just a few suggestions. Please reply if you might be interested.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Juanita M. Jordan
